Odeon is charging their costumers from 25.75 pounds all the way to 40.75 pounds per ticket, this is based on that the cinema is a historic cinema, and the chairs which they use are luxury chairs, which favors the commodity of the costumers.
Some people are complaining because of the pricing of this cinema, which ended in the owner of the cinema posting a screenshot of the online pricing. The biggest complain is that a romantic date on the cinema could go all the way up to 81 pounds without counting drinks and food. Although the cinema offers fair prices according to the amount of tickets sold at once, like this giving more accessible prices to families and couples.
In my opinion the owner of the cinema is on his right to charge that amount per ticket, since it's his establishment and he is not forcing anyone to spend the 40.75 pounds, in fact there are lower prices, and the people who do buy those tickets are people who can actually afford them.
